Love with Food October Box

I've tried quite a few of the Happy Squeeze products and while the taste is good, I'm still getting used to the texture.
Kind bars are amazing, need I say more?
I've seen Glee gum around before and never tried it. It's pretty good, but like many others, the flavor doesn't last as long as I'd hope.
Dang could not have a better name... dang these are good. I don't love coconut, I have to be in the mood for it, but these are delicious little coconut chips that would probably make a great dessert topping.
The Pizzelle crisps are really great, more of a cocoa flavor than a sweet chocolate and I like that.
The candies are good, I got blood orange and cinnamon anjou pear which unexpected and great flavors.
I haven't tried the Caveman Cookies yet and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the Pixo pearls.

October NatureBox

I'm excited to try the Banana Bread Granola and want to try to come up with a good recipe for it. The Southern BBQ Sunflower Kernels are okay. The flavor is good, but I hate shelled kernels, personal preference, but I really don't like sunflower seeds without the shell. I'm a HUGE fan of the Lemon Pucker Pistachios and I'm happy to see them back! I expected to love the Granny Smith Apple slices, but I didn't. They were tough and sour and I just wasn't a huge fan, maybe they'll be good for martinis. The Blueberry Almond Bites are a nice slightly sweet snack.

I like NatureBox, but I haven't been loving it as much lately. Let me know what you think of yours if you've tried it. I may start doing the custom boxes to get more of what I think I'll like,.

September KlutchClub

This month's box was all about being stress free!

I haven't a chance to try everything yet, but read on for my review of what I've tried.

I received the Annie Chun's Seaweed Snacks and the Snapea Crisps in other boxes before and I personally don't care for them.

The Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn was delicious and made for a great snack at work.

The PowBab is a supplement chew and it's like candy! These are so good!

DreamWater I've tried before, but this is a new flavor for me.

The rest I'll be trying through the week.

Let me know what you think of KlutchClub below!

September NatureBox

I apologize in advance, this is going to be a short post for now. Today is the start of my vacation and I'm just writing this up on the train. I got my NatureBox just before I left and literally only got to open it.
I'm interested in the chia seed crackers, my mom LOVES chia seeds and they're really good for you, so here's hoping they taste good.
The salted caramel pretzel pops seem like something I needed in my life a long time ago.
The cranberry macaroon granola seems interesting and I'm curious to see how I like it. I love cranberries and I love macaroons, but I can be so picky about coconut.
On to what I'm not excited about.
I don't like peas... at all... in any form. Sorry. So we'll see what happens with the smoky bbq peas. I'll try one to be fair.
I'm also not a huge fan of pumpkin seeds. I love making them, but I don't love to eat them. The other thing is that while I can appreciate why NatureBox sends their seeds hulled, I much prefer the texture of breaking open the seeds myself. Maybe that's weird. I can eat a whole bag of sunflower seeds, but if they're already hulled forget it. We'll see how I like the sea salt and cracked black pepper pumpkin seeds.
What are your thoughts on this month's box?

September Love with Food

One of my best friends has Celiac's Disease so it was great to see a box dedicated to gluten free snacks. I was just getting home from work when this arrived and I was STARVING so I pretty much demolished half of this box in one sitting... probably not the healthiest thing I could do, but oh well. Check out the photos below to see this month's box.

From their site:
"Love With Food helps you discover new organic, all-natural snacks delivered to your door every month. Our subscription membership starts as low as $10/month. Every month, Love With Food members will receive a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty snacks which varies based on seasonal themes.

These Apple Chips were insanely good! Apples are my favorite part of the Fall!
My inner 6 year old was in LOVE with these puffy, crunchy dinosaurs!
These Cinnamon Crunch crisps are SO GOOD! I was skeptical because they are corn based, but they are out of this world... which is probably why they are from Cosmos... get it?

August NatureBox

This month's box focused on beach ready snacks. It only just came in and I've already tried most of them.

 This month's snacks were:

Lemon Tea Biscuits: Let me tell you I could eat these by the handful at any time of day. Addictive and delicious. They have a light, slightly sweet lemon flavor and I adore them.
Garden Tomato Almonds: I wasn't sure how I would feel about these, but they're actually quite good. They have a tomato garlic flavor to them and the box recommends trying them in a pesto and I definitely think that would work well.
Country Ranch Sunflower Kernels: I haven't tried these yet, but they do sound really good. The box recommends trying them on salad, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Big Island Pineapple: HOLY AMAZING BATMAN! It's almost like candy, like a grown up fruit snack. Slightly tart, slightly sweet, chewy and delicious. I had to restrain myself from eating the whole bag. This was my favorite thing I've had from Nature Box so far. I'm part Brazilian and sometimes for cookouts we slice pineapples and sprinkle them with a little cinnamon and sugar and grill them. This is almost like an easier to eat, more portable version and I think I may even like this better.
Whole Wheat Blueberry Figgy Bars: These are really great too. NatureBox has a few variants on the Figgy Bar and this Blueberry one was great. Slightly sweet, but a great little individually wrapped way to kill a craving.

I've been really satisfied with Nature Box and it has really helped keep my snacking in check. Instead of reaching for unhealthy options, I have great healthy snacks on hand. I definitely recommend trying it out.

NatureBox Summer Travel Box

I really liked this picnic themed Summer Travel Box, EXCEPT that I also started my subscription in June and there were 4 duplicates. Kind of a bummer since that meant I had already tried half the box. I would have loved to have doubles of the lemon pucker pistachios and the lemon meringue wafers (these were awesome. Especially the pistachios since they were so different and bright in flavor.) I didn't love the guacamole bites and of course that's one of the ones that was doubled. I did really like the bbq kettle kernels though so I didn't mind that double. The salsa spiced nut mix was good, but I am a baby for spices, my boyfriend liked it though. The whole wheat raspberry figgy bars are really good and are like a yummier fig newton. I haven't tried the Taj Majal snack mix yet, but I'll probably try it this week.

May KlutchBox

So I apologize, when this came in I thought it was the June Box, but apparently as late as I ordered I still got May's. (Also I'm doing the Women's Box only for now, I may get Greg the Men's in the future.) So apparently, the boxes ship out on the 15th if purchased before then and take 5-10 days and I got mine in the last days of May and got it in early June.

The first thing I noticed with this box is that they definitely give you a lot for your money. They say it's at least a $50 value for $18 and when the box first arrives it seems small and you think "Yeah right..." And then you open it. These folks do not waste space. As soon as I picked it up it felt very heavy for it's size. I received about a dozen items as well as book full of coupons for Walgreens. Some products also had a coupon attached to their package. Plus there was a card for 15% off my online Walgreens order.

What I got:

So far I've tried:
KIND Bar in Madagascar Vanilla - Good, but not my favorite. I've tried others from them and I didn't love this one. I got a lot of peanut flavor and peanuts are NUT at the top of my list. (And you wonder why I don't do standup.)
BIC Soleil Bella Razor - I've tried some of the other BIC Soleil razors and didn't see too much difference with this one. It has an extra strip of moisture from coconut milk. This is the kind of razor I would travel with, good in a pinch, but not as good as borrowing my boyfriend's.

I'll be honest, I'm very curious about many of these products, but here's why I haven't tried some of them:

Hangover Sucks - I love the name, but I never drink to get hungover, though I may do it just to test these out. If 4th of July gets too happy I'll definitely be carrying these on me. They're supposed to help relieve hangover symptoms with a blend of vitamins and herbs in a convenient lozenge. They also make lollipops.

Agro Labs Wheatgrass Boost - I really am curious about it, the benefits are supposed to be great, but I am soooo picky and, I'm going to sound like a 4 year old, but wheat grass shooters in general look yucky. I'll let you know when I muster up the courage.

Coromega Big Squeeze - I keep wanting to try this, but I keep rushing out of the house in the morning before I remember to. I'm curious to see how it tastes alone or blended into drinks. If it's tasty it will definitely be a great replacement to the enormous fish oils I take currently. (Also this big pouch contained 45 servings!)

Enjoy Life Not Nuts: I've been carrying this in my purse as a just in case snack for a few weeks. I think I keep forgetting it's there, but it will soon be gone.

Dream Water: I have been DYING to try this, but I am a baby with sleep aids. I am so sensitive that I can often oversleep. This contains melatonin and an equivalent to tryptophan, both are naturally occurring and help promote restful sleep. However, I have melatonin supplements and only take them when I have at least 10 hours I can sleep, just in case. I once slept 14 hours from taking a Tylenol PM. I will definitely be trying it the night before a day off.

Shea Terra African Black Soap in Mango - I literally keep forgetting to bring it in the shower. I need to just put it there so I'll remember once I'm in there. Smells AMAZING though!

Clean Well Wipes - There are 2 in here. One for surfaces and one for hands, I should probably just keep these in my purse for when I need them. Usually at home I don't need these kinds of things, but on the go is a different story entirely.

100% Pure Body Cream: These are great little mini samples and I'm going to put them in my purse for those inevitable moments where I can't find any lotion.

Eclos Daily HydraPrimer SPF 30: I honestly have forgotten to try it in the morning as I'm getting ready. I'm also very careful about anything that "claims" to be a broad spectrum sunscreen, it's a rant for another day, but long story short I work in the medical beauty industry and know what a sunscreen needs to have. I have to scrutinize the label on this one and get back to you guys.

$10 off NatureBox!

Continuing with my new-found obsession with subscription boxes, I've been eyeing Nature Box for a while and you know I love a deal! So when I was able to get $10 off and free shipping to try it out, I got very excited. I've been working out and eating more healthfully lately and if this can make it easier by giving me some healthy snacks, all the better. I can't wait to get my box in! I love that they have different size options depending on your needs. I choose the deluxe box which is $19.95 and has 5 full sized packages of snacks, but they also have the Family size which has 10 full size for $29.95 and the Professional Snacker (seriously, is that an occupation I could have? I could totally be okay with that.) which comes with 20 full size packages for $49.95. They also have a limited edition Summer Travel Box for $24.95 which comes with 7 full size summer snacks.
